A Response

The following is today's response, which will probably be deleted, to a blog I shouldn't have wasted time with anyway:

Fisting and felching are not what I'm into. Just as hetero bondage and S&M may not be what you are into. Don't buy into all the hype and paranoia.

But get real, if you are going to cite the "the Good Book," keep in mind that the same passages you mention from Leviticus also denounce eating any creature from the sea without fins or gills as an "abomination." So why don't these Christians boycott Red Lobster? Just because you don't understand it, doesn't make it evil.

I don't want to shove anything down anyone's throat (pun intended), but I don't want to lose my job again over my sexual orientation. Nor should it be any harder for me than for you to inherit what my partner and I have built when he dies.

After all, what threat are we to straight marriage? You don't need us to sabotage that institution. The straight divorce rate has been skyrocketing just fine without our help.

you are so right! As a christian I am appalled at the lack of love shown by most politically right wing conservative christians.
God IS love, so wherever true love is...God is there. The love you share with your life partner is every bit as real and valid as the love I share with my life partner despite the fact that we have different orientations. I wish the country would wake up and realize that.

Thank you for that.
