A Gay Dad's Magic Moment

A lovely little topic that Vincent brought up recently on GF.

How about we go back in time to the early days of living with Brian, several years ago. I wondered how well they would accept our relationship. Early one morning I got up from the bed I share with Brian to do my bathroom rituals and came back to the sound of laughing and giggling. All three of my little guys had climbed into bed with Brian, to tickle and wake him up. Seeing the whole family in that magic moment meant a lot to me. I knew we had "arrived," and that whatever else lay ahead, we were off to a good start.

I cannot describe the joy or lightness of heart I felt. But I knew that Brian was officially part of the family, and that we would be alright.
